Hi

Picture
I was born in Brasov, Romania before I moved to Canada at a young age. Here in Ottawa I attended Sacred Heart High school. Some my hobbies and passions besides art include looking up things on the computer, finding images for my pamphlets and traveling with family. On my spare time I like to go for coffee and visit museums here in Ottawa.

When it comes to art I love making commercials and telling stories and sharing my ideas of the world. So far my favourite projects at theSpace have been using maps and piecing together advertisements. I like to collage and several different pieces on the same topic. Painting and colouring with Photoshop is lots of fun.

Art is important  to me because it’s relaxing to put on the radio and draw and colour and if I make a mistake I can fix it. I like to work on new things and sip on my coffee.  I like to browse the internet and find things that interest me. Getting to share things I really care about and take home my work is the best part about making art.

Some Fact About Me
  • I enjoy the works of Van Gogh and have done a few impression pieces.
  • My favourite musician and singer is Rikki Martin and some Spanish/English Music.
  • I Iike working with computers especially when it comes to making videos with the green screen or drawing with a tablet.
  • In my spare time I like to make pamphlets made out of prints, paper and tape or sit outside on a nice day with an ice cap.
  • My dream job would be to work at a plant nursery or a toy store.
  • I am really good at finding trees and plants and being about to name them.
  • If I had to pick a role model I would choose Neil Armstrong and Terry Fox

Some Of My Videos

I liked making this video because I got to draw cute animals and tell the story that I wanted to tell people. Every animal is afriad of something just like we all have our fears that we worry about.

Even the big horses or fancy Peecok have fears and obsessions. It was fun having people voice each animal. It reminded me of Rug Rats and Hammy The Hamster.

My Process

Featured Item

Picture
This past summer I picked two Ottawa streets. After finding some photos on Google I used a projector to paint the shapes and outlines. Once several versions were made I scanned my painting and used several layers to fill in the shapes. Using several tools in Photoshop I was able to add so many different sections. Colouring took a long time since there are so many colours in each. I have since taken this method of drawing and used different items to make other landscapes.

Local Treasure: Walter Baker Centre

The Walter backer centre is a great place to visit. It's a big part of the Barrhaven community. It has nice comfy chairs for you to read graphic novels and my personal favourite, travel books. You can also peacefully enjoy a nice variety of plants inside the building. It's so enjoyable you could sit and read for hours. Too bad you stay overnight
It's very close to homes and other restaurants, including schools all accessible by the #170 OC Transpo Bus route.
Inside people can use the pool, the water slide, sauna and the awesome hot tube. If you want to cool off try out the diving board. If swimming isn't your thing then check out the exercise facility they have upstairs. Here you can try out cross training and use the treadmill or the dumbbells while you catch up on the news and Oprah and modern music as you watch the flat-screen TVs. Make sure to also check out some of the nice hockey games to watch on the ice and when your all done you can stop by the cafeteria for a light snack.

Overall you can easily bus and walk to the Walter Baker Centre making it a great

My Week In Ottawa

It was a good basecuse I got to work with Rian at theSpace and wright about koi and learn about china and also I found my café.
This week I also went to get my hair cut First Choice Hair Cutters for a nice trim then whet to Tim Hortons for an icecap which is always nice.If I had my way everyday I would move to Florida but since I am in Ottawa I would make sure to vistit the Parliament Buildings because they are cool and I like the look of the buildings.
Ideally I would also like to visit my mom in Richmond for lunch. She makes really good meals with salon or trout sometimes. Shake and bake is also one of my favourites. If we are eating out I would insist that we ate at Pizza Hut or East Mario. I’ve always liked going there since I was 5 years.

Visiting Punta Cana

.There are many pretty palm trees. The worm tropical musty air
allows for many Canadians to vist and enjoy all the types of trees and
plants that naturally call this place home.
2. Make sure you visit the beaches. Bring sunscreen of course. There
are over 10 different beaches. Make sure to save time to shop.
3 . Good food is everywhere. If you like crab, caribbean lobster or plants than you are  in luck. Manawars and Tarantulas are things you should avoid.
4 Some of places you can stay are Lookea Voages or Riu of Sandle or  the beaches Hard Rock Hotel if you like music because it’s included.
5.Make sure you pick up some souvenirs like Lookea Tape and pamplet of palmtrees. Hand craved souvenirs like parakeets are ideal. Or just take a photo.

China

Temple roofs were curved because Buddhists believed that a curved shape could ward off evil spirits, which were thought to only move in straight lines. The tiles, usually shaped to represent bamboo, create their own curved surface, further confusing the evil spirits.
The most common building materials for houses in China are earth and wood, both of which have positive associations. The foundation of a house generally is made of pounded earth, and in some situations where wood was rare, earth was used in the construction of walls.
Traditionally Chinese text was written in vertical columns which were read from top to bottom, right-to-left; the first column being on the right side of the page, and the last column on the left. ... The use of punctuation has also become more common, whether the text is written in columns or rows.
Mandarin is considered “standard Chinese”, and is the official language of China and Singapore. Pretty much everyone in China has to learn to speak Mandarin at school. It’s based on the dialect spoken in Beijing, but the accent and grammar are standard throughout China.

My Recent Trip To Mexico

This winter I went to Cuba around January 14th and 15th I was gone for almost 10 days. I flew on a Air Transat and also took the Greyhound. Another bus once in Cuba.

The best parts of the trip was the pamphlet looking and the TV. I had crab legs every night. Pencolates and coffee each morning I loved the buffet, TV and the beaches. I was really surprised by the Greenery and how much food there was. They had lots plants I had never seen. The water was cold sometimes. I saw soliders on the beach with their green suites. The nice kind. I was hoping to have to have some cane sugar.

Some interesting about Cuba are most of the trees are Boka and the most imported items are coffee fruite and oil and medical products. Next time I want visit the other side of the island on.

No Racism No Bullying

Racism is a huge problem in Canada and Ottawa. It effects every one of all races and backgrounds. It can happen in many different ways. For example calling someone a pig only because of their skin color or hair type.
Using slang and offensive language is one way to be racist but also acting and treating some one different is racist as well. Racism makes people feel nervous, upset, hurt and very angry. It is A form of disrespect everywhere in society.

Games like the the Olympics, teaching young people how to get along, playing inclusive games will help fix this problem. Video that are educational videos that teach everyone to be nice and not treat others differently because of the colour of their skin or culture will also help.
Don’t be a bully; two wrongs don’t make a right. Treat other the way you would like to be treated. Be kind to others and help others you see that are being disrespected.

Why I like the Bus

I think the busing system here in Ottawa is great! Not only is it good for sight seeing around Ottawa you get a great view of the city. While you travel around Ottawa you can relax and enjoy your Tim Hortons.

It's air conditioned unlike the coach buses. It is cheap and you can get along all day. My best memory of traveling on the bus was traveling down Albert St. on my way to the Adaptive Learning Program. I always use to take the 94 from Barrhaven downtown and it was supper easy. It's always a bonus when the bus driver is very nice. If I have a chance I always sit at the front of the bus. I don't sit at the front if someone else needs it. Like the physically disabled, elderly and babies. Always plan your trip before you leave the house and make sure you have the right shoes for your day.

Best Trip Ever

Thinking back, my favourite memory is being on an Air Canada flight for about 5-6 hours on my way to California.
We landed in San Fransico and began our visit. I saw a giant conveyor belt for suitcases at the airport and my uncle Peter was there with a giant bag with Mickey Toys inside for myself and my sister. She got the mouse I got a cup with Mini Mouse on it.     I remember driving on a yellow go cart where you had to pedal fast. It felt like a bike-a-thon. We also swam in the Pacific ocean where there is Kelpt and I played cowboys with my cousin Eric and Nicolas. At some point we went China town and ate at a nice restaurant.

Don't Treat Me Like A Child

Turtke Neck – Is symbolic of restriction and my neck that I sometimse squeeze. Turtle Neck is a negative feeling of feeling mistreated and life being unfair. Not getting my way.
I picked to write about this because of my past
experience being where I was treated like child or being forced to do certain things I didn't like because of my learning disability. I've always hated other people getting their way and not me. It's like everyone get's to wear shorts on a hot day but not me. Or only  getting homework. Everyone who has a disability can related to other people treating them differently.   Usually very strictly or without patience. Sterotypes are often applied to me and my friends. I feel people make obstacle courses all the time for me. I feel like everyone get's internet but I don’t.

I feel upset and want to squeeze my neck and lash out. When people treat me different I feel like i'm being suffocated and buried under something very heavy.  Like everyone else get's their wat but not me. Like you will never get your way and you cant be yourself when around others.
These experiences, happen at weddings. Out in public, during camps, and summer programs. Anywhere in  public where people judge and i’m forced to follow strict social skills. Staff and supports should treat everyone the same and equal. Regardless of who they are. They should focus on fun stuff like going swimming or golfing and skiing. Not worrying about me and my obession or fixations. Less social skills and more passionate staff, more time and a balance of skills. Just like the people at ALP. They were great to me.
My hope is people will read this and understand me better, people should not rush me, make assumptions and try harder to get to know people like me. Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a person by their disability.

Pull Out Your Skies

My favourtire winter Acticity is skiing and visiting the canal. I’ve done skiing in Ottawa and Quebec during the winter. It’s great because I get to go on trips and visit the ski hills like Mont Sant Anne and maybe by souveniers. It also keeps you healthy.
First time I went was in grade 6 with school and I really liked it. Other people would like it because its cold outside and fun to go down the hill. You can see friends be social and maybe see your old school teachers. If you don’t like going fast or have a bad feeling abut the hill you might fall on the triple blask hill and hurt yourslelf skiing down it
The coolest part about my trip to Mont Tremblant was the bus ride an the hills. There is yummy poutine there, big plateand there was pogos. The hills are great and good to ski down . There is lots of trees and greenery with snow on them. I also went on a gondola.

My Favourtie Pizza Place

When I think about my childhood I miss Pizza Hut. I use to go there all the time and get a pan pizza. A large pizza baked in dish or two medium pizzas were my favourite things to get. A glass of coke was nice too. They use to give me star wars I remember.
I always liked the taste and the way the place looked when I would go with my family. I use to always go to the one in Kanata at 474 Hazeldean Rd. I liked collecting the toys.I don’t remember my first vistit there but my first visit to Pizza Hut was in Missagsau around the age of 5 we also got wings with my mom and dad.

Right now at Pizza Hut they have pizza, panormous, pasta, wings, desserts, lots of sides and drinks. They deliver 11 in the morning until 10 at night. If I could order a pizza right now I would make it meat lovers with extra mushrooms and just tomato sauce with good parasam cheese on the pizza.

 Skeleton Keys

I really like the ones with three or two holes. I’ve gotten most of my keys from the Stittsville flea market and the Red Barn. That is where people give me keys. They get stuff from people giving to them and they sell them as antiques. Every fall around September and October I go there and I went once for my Birthday.

I collect the keys because I like them since they look really cool and feel nice in my hands. They mean love and they are old and have a nice style. The look reminds me of Harry Potter and duplexes. Some of the types of keys I collect are brass, skeleton.

All the keys I collect are kept on a key link ring. Or in a canister in my room near the window on the ledge.
My favourtie key was the Cindelrea Key but I gave it up. If I could have any key in the world it would be old, gold and have three holes. My Dream Key.

 The Art Of Pamplet Making

I like to make Palm tree booklet. I like to make them where ever I go. At home Florida, Richmond or theSpace. I started when I went to Myrtle Beach in July 2005. It’s been 14 years and I love it. At the Pharmacy I saw a pamphlet and it looked like one I broke in half in Puntacana. This inspired me to make my own. A teacher I had named Mrs. Muffat also got me into it.I like the shape of trees and ferns. I’m sure if you had a hobby like mine that was interesting you can make a pamphlet to. Something summery and beach like.

I like make pamphlets with take and printed our palms because it looks like a beaches and places in Florida I visited. I like places like Boca Raton and hotels in Puntacana. For me It’s relaxing and it connect me with my family and places I have gone.
